ARTIST STATEMENT: Growing up on the edge of the Qu’Appelle Valley provided an opportunity to appreciate the natural prairie environment and develop an understanding of the beauty found in all seasons. Qu’Appelle Valley View is based on my favourite scene from our pasture looking down into the valley as the sun rises on an early morning in the Fall. Art work measures 24” wide by 12” high and is acrylic on canvas, unframed, Completed June 7, 2025
