The ninth edition of the Art Now Fine Art Fair took place in Saskatoon on September 19 to 22, 2024, with hundreds of original art works for sale from commercial galleries across Saskatchewan.

the 9th edition of art now fine art fair comes to a close

Sunday, September 22, 2024 marked the end of the in-person portion of the 9th annual Art Now Fine Art Fair. Art Now 2024 was held at Prairieland Park, Hall E in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. There were hundreds of original artworks for sale from eleven Saskatchewan exhibitors, showcasing a diverse line up of artists and artwork. 

The 9th edition of Art Now began on Thursday, September 19 with a well-attended reception, where attendees chatted with the gallerists, listened to Patrick Moon Bird as they browsed the artwork, and enjoyed refreshments and appetizers.

Several attendees won great door prizes that were generously donated by the participating galleries, the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Regina Symphony Orchestra.

SaskGalleries to host 9th annual premier fine art fair Art Now in Saskatoon

(Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) - Art Now, the largest fine art fair of modern and contemporary art on the Canadian prairies, is back in Saskatoon in Prairieland Park’s Hall E, September 19-22, and online from September 20-30.

The 9th edition of Art Now will run alongside the inaugural Saskatchewan Craft Council’s Craft Is… Fine Craft Show + Sale, making for an unforgettable event that art enthusiasts won’t want to miss. The shows will feature hundreds of works of art available for purchase from Saskatchewan commercial galleries and artists.

This year’s Art Now Fine Art Fair, held in Saskatoon from September 19th- 22nd, will once again feature stART, a section dedicated to emerging artists. Each presenting gallery has the opportunity to bring one emerging artist to the stART booth to display their work. These artists are in the early stages of their careers with limited publication and exhibition history and self-identify as emerging artists.
