ARTIST STATEMENT: On a brisk October morning, I was walking along the shore of the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatoon. The air was cold but fresh, and the trees still had some fall colour left. As I followed the path, the morning light started to hit the riverbank in a really nice way—soft and golden. The University Bridge was in the background, slightly shadowed but still a strong presence in the scene.
